The mod 1063 is the most iconic piece of the Gino Sarfatti Flos lighting collection. This floor lamp consists of a slim aluminum tubular post in painted finish. There is a long vertical slit that diffuses the light. The minimalist 'light tube post' is actually supported by steel canted braces that connect it to a box that rests on the floor. The base of this new Sarfatti 1053 lamp now hides the LED dimming system and driver.

This is a re-edition of the mod 1063 of Gino Sarfatti, one of Italy's most known lighting designers of the 20th century. The Italian design label Flos did not limit itself to only reawaken Sarfatti's forms, but moved on to integrate contemporary LED illumination technology into the lamps. The Sarfatti Collection is also known as 'Re-Lighting N° 1 Edition'.
