Designed in 1957 by Paulo Mendes da Rocha, the Paulistano armchair was part of the living rooms of the Athletic Club of São Paulo. The constructivist concept of the structure, made up from a single bended steel bar, and its supple cover, procure to this armchair a lightness and incomparable comfort. Edited in small series within the last years, the Paulistano armchair emerges from the past to show that the purity and the elegance of its lines are timeless: a masterpiece.
Because of the seating in canvas, this lounge chair can also be used in the garden or outdoor space. It is advised that the cover is always stored inside during periods of poor weather. The frame can be left outdoors permanently.
